christmas time is here


giulietta, my baby doll.

no mail today. in fact the mail truck has slid into the neighbor's yard.

christmas parade. my husband is driving his 48' farmall cub.

marcello. first snow.

christmas parade on main street in town. bloody freezing....

wake the next day to no power. heavy, beautiful snow covering everything.

maggie, this is just the pretty side of being snowed in. first 24 hrs no heat. kids eating chips, crying, bored, begging to go outside but with no heat - i don't think so! better now that the power is on.

I can't believe all the snow you have now! It looks so pretty, especially the main street and you husband's quaint tractor! Yes I too don't consider what else snow might bring (lack of power, being snowed in, etc) but that's just because where I live we don't get snow and to be honest I haven't seen or touched it for some years now. I generally only see it in American Christmas movies, how sad is that!

Glad to hear your heat is on! Maybe you need to get a bag of marshmallows and some mulled wine and throw yourself into the season.
